Pack Football Alumni Weekend Set for April 28-29

 Colorado State University Pueblo football will be holding its annual Spring Game on April 29 in the CSU Pueblo Thunder Bowl Stadium and the spring game will be the final event of the 10th-Annual Pack Football Alumni Weekend Celebration, which is scheduled for April 28-29.

The weekend celebration will allow CSU Pueblo Football alumni the opportunity to meet and get know the current Pack players and coaching staff and continue building on the pride and tradition of Pack Football. 

The Pack Football Alumni Weekend Celebration will begin on Friday, April 28 from 12-2 p.m. with a round of golf at the Walking Stick Golf Course. Pack football alumni will receive a discounted rate of $50 that includes green fees and a cart on April 28. Those alumni interested in playing golf, should contact John Wristen or Dave Lewis at dwlewis65@comcast.net or at (719) 553-1181 to reserve a tee time.On Friday, April 28, at 5:30 p.m., the Pack Football Alumni will have an Alumni Happy Hour at the ThunderZone. There will be complimentary appetizers, a cash bar and a chance to meet the new ThunderWolves' football coaching staff led by head coach Philip Vigil.The following day prior to the Spring Game at 10 a.m., the Pack Football Alumni will gather at the Packhouse for the Alumni Player Awards and then the weekend festivities will culminate the Spring Game at the Thunder Bowl.Wristen is also currently working on arranging special hotel room rates for the Pack Football Alumni Celebration weekend at the Courtyard by Marriott located in downtown Pueblo.
