The Colorado State University Pueblo baseball team was picked to finish in fourth place according to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll, announced Wednesday.
Three members of the Pack were named RMAC Players to Watch. Noah Hennings (Sr., Draper, Utah), Zach Pratt (Jr., Belton, Mo.) and Brady Prewitt (Jr., Raytown, Mo.) will lead the ThunderWolves this season.
Colorado Mesa was picked to finish first and earned seven first-place votes and 63 points, followed by MSU Denver (2 first place votes) picked to finish second with 56 points. Regis sits ahead of the Pack in third and earned 48 points.
CSU Pueblo earned the fourth slot with 43 points and followed by Colorado School of Mines in fifth place with 39 points. UCCS was picked sixth (30 points) and the field is rounded out by Colorado Christian (20 points), New Mexico Highlands (16 points) and Adams State (9 points).
CSU Pueblo begins the regular season at home with a three-game home stand. The ThunderWolves open the season Feb. 10-11 against St. Edward's and welcomes UCCS on Feb. 12 to Rawlings Field.
