Colorado State University Pueblo men's basketball dropped its second consecutive game, falling 81-68 against Minot State on the last day of the Thanksgiving Classic inside Massari Arena.
The difference in the game was from behind the three-point line, CSU Pueblo shot 33.3 percent and went 5-of-15 while the Beavers shot 45.5 percent on 10-of-22 shooting from three.
Meekness Payne scored four of the threes for the Pack and totaled 21 points and seven rebounds. Lian Ramiro added 20 points of his own.
The teams went back-and-forth for much of the first half and went into break tied at 38.
In the second half, Minot State turned up its offense a notch and started the half on a 12-7 run before the first media timeout.
The ThunderWolves clawed their way back and got within three, 50-47 with 14:25 left in the second period.
MSU was able to hold off the Pack over the final ten minutes and the lead ballooned to as high as 17 points in the half.
