No. 11 ThunderWolves secure two-seed at RMAC Tournament

The 2022 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament field has been set and the No. 11 ranked Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer team earned the second-seed and receives a bye in the quarterfinal round and will await its opponent.

The ThunderWolves earned the right to host a semifinal game which will take place on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.

CSU Pueblo awaits the winner between three-seed Westminster and six-seed Colorado Christian. The teams will play their quarterfinal matchup on Thursday in Salt Lake City.

Also receiving a bye is regular season champion Colorado School of Mines who earned the one-seed.

In the other quarterfinal, four-seed UCCS and five-seed Regis will play Thursday in Colorado Springs with the winner advancing to face Mines.

The ThunderWolves wrapped the regular season with their tenth clean sheet of the season following a 2-0 win over MSU Denver.

Pack Head Coach Oliver Twelvetrees said, "Certainly disappointed not to win the regular season title but that just keeps us hungry for more important matches still to come. We're looking forward to hosting either Westminster or Colorado Christian here in Pueblo and hosting a playoff game for the third year in a row here at ALG."
