DBU Returns to Action at Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite

TEEING OFF

The Men's Golf team returns to the course for the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite in Amarillo, Texas. DBU is entering the heart of its fall schedule and hopes to hit its stride with four tournaments in the month of October. 

The event ( Par 70 - 6,916 yards) will feature a 17-team field consisting of DBU, Oklahoma Christian, Western New Mexico, Midwestern State, UT Tyler, Cameron, UT Permian Basin, Arkansas-Fort Smith, St. Mary's, Lubbock Christian, Colorado Christian, Colorado Mesa, UC Colorado Springs, Fort Lewis, Regis, Colorado School of Mines and West Texas A&M.

 PATRIOT STORYLINES

-Matt Prieskorn played some of his best golf at the Farmers Insurance Sam Proal Invite last month, firing off a 5-under par, 67, in the final round to match the lowest score of his career.

-Prieskorn also made a pair of eagles and led the tournament with a 4.17 Par 5 scoring average.

-DBU makes its fifth appearance in the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite.
