LSC PLAY KICKS OFF IN KMA

This week marks the beginning of Lone Star Conference play and what better way to kick off conference play than in Kitty Magee Arena, where the Texas Woman's volleyball team is currently undefeated.

The Texas Woman's volleyball team (9-3) hope to continue their eight-game winning streak against the St. Mary's Rattlers on Friday, Sept. 15 and the St. Edward's Hilltoppers on Saturday, Sept. 16. Coming off an outstanding performance in the LSC Crossover tournament last weekend, the Pioneers anticipate high energy in KMA for their next two home games.

Dominating the competition, the Pioneers rose victorious against Texas A&M International, Western New Mexico, and Cameron sweeping their opponents in three sets. The Pioneers faced adversity in their last match of LSC Crossover, dropping a set to Midwestern State. Fortunately, the Pioneers regrouped and solidified their win in three straight sets.

Conference play kicks off in KMA this Friday, Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. against St. Mary's (4-7). Followed by a match on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 4 p.m. versus St. Edwards (3-8).
