City of Carrollton, Texas issued the following announcement on Nov. 22
The City of Carrollton wants to thank the many residents and City staff who delivered so much plastic for the Bags to Benches campaign that the goal was met within weeks instead of months. The company that processes the plastic bags into benches will only allow one bench per city every six months, so for the time being plastic bags and films must be recycled the normal way.
The next collection period will be spring 2022.
