Office of the Governor Greg Abbott issued the following announcement on March 19.
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Brad Namdar for a term set to expire on March 15, 2022. The OneStar Foundation provides technical assistance, education, information and other support to Texas’ extensive volunteer community, and improving and strengthening the state’s volunteerism and community service infrastructure.
Brad Namdar of Dallas is president of Namdar Décor &The House of Namdar. He is a member of the United States Chamber of Commerce, Global Chamber - Dallas, International Commerce Commission, North Dallas, West Dallas, and Richardson Chambers of Commerce. Additionally, he is involved with Rotary International, Altrusa International – Downtown Dallas, the World Affairs Council, New Friends New Life, and Young Texans Against Cancer, and was a delegate at the United Nations for the We Are All Human Summit. Namdar received Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Masters of Arts in Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management, a Mediation License, and an Executive Coaching Certification from Southern Methodist University.
