SMU Volleyball announced its 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference schedule on June 3, highlighting matches against Louisville, Stanford, and Pittsburgh at Moody Coliseum in Dallas this fall.
The Mustangs’ ACC slate includes three teams that finished the 2025 season ranked in the top ten of the AVCA/TARAFLEX Division I Poll. The team will open conference play with a home match against Stanford on Friday, September 25. SMU’s first road stretch concludes with an away game at Pittsburgh on October 7, followed by a home matchup with the Panthers on Saturday, October 11.
The schedule also features two meetings with Louisville: one in Dallas on Friday, November 13, and another to close out the regular season on November 28. Additional notable home matches include contests against Miami on October 16 and North Carolina on November 6.
In non-conference action, SMU is set to face reigning national champion Texas A&M in Milwaukee on August 23. The Mustangs will participate in the inaugural women’s college volleyball showcase at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, competing alongside Nebraska, Penn State, and Florida for a $1 million prize pool. Later non-conference events include hosting Texas for the second annual meeting on September 9 and traveling to the Bahamas for an event where SMU will play Kentucky first and then Purdue or Houston.
The program reported that television selections and additional non-conference games will be announced later. Season tickets are available for purchase for all home games.
During the previous season—their second year competing in the ACC—SMU advanced to its first-ever Sweet Sixteen appearance while tying a program record with twenty-seven wins. The team reached as high as No. 7 nationally according to coaches’ polls during that campaign and achieved significant victories over Louisville, Stanford, and eventual national champion Texas A&M.
