Season ticket renewals for the upcoming SMU men’s and women’s basketball seasons are now available, the university announced on May 27. The announcement follows a successful previous season that saw both programs generate momentum heading into the 2026-27 campaign.

Last season, the men’s basketball team returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2017. Highlights included ranked wins over North Carolina and Louisville at Moody Coliseum and a notable half-court buzzer-beater victory against Virginia Tech known as the “Miracle from the Miller.” The women’s program also had standout performances, including a dominant 40-point game in a win over Pitt.

For the upcoming season, men’s basketball features one of the nation’s top transfer classes, ranked No. 6 nationally and second in the Atlantic Coast Conference by On3. The women’s team welcomes back its star player alongside several new additions: Sun Belt Freshman of the Year Kinsea Grimes from Coastal Carolina, Colonial Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Year Grace Ezebilo from Charleston, Pitt transfer Theresa Hagans Jr., who earned ACC All-Freshman Team honors for 2025-26, and French forward Adja Kane.

The renewal deadline for men’s basketball season tickets is Friday, July 31. For women’s basketball premium seating renewals, tickets must be renewed by Tuesday, June 30. After these deadlines pass, current purchasers interested in upgrading their seats will be invited to participate in a selection process guided by SMU’s Mustang Club Priority Point system.

SMU Athletics established its pricing model for next season using data from previous ticket sales trends and secondary market activity. Prices include all ticket fees; payment plans are available for those renewing in May. Parking arrangements and Miller Club donation levels have been updated according to recently released Mustang Club Benefits charts.
