Rep. Mitch Little, a Republican representing Texas’s 65th House district since 2025, shared a series of posts on his Twitter account on April 29, 2026, touching on topics ranging from personal empathy to Texas political history.

In his first post of the day, Little wrote: “My goodness. Praying for a swift recovery.” (April 29, 2026). Later that afternoon, he posted another brief message: “Been there.” (April 29, 2026).

In the evening, Little addressed historical issues related to Texas politics and redistricting: “Now is a good time to ask the good people of Texas to revisit White v. Regester and how we got here. It was 1970’s Texas Democrats drawing the lines to make sure only white Democrats got to run for office and not Black Democrats. Always both arsonist and fireman.” (April 29, 2026).

Little was elected in 2025 to represent the state’s 65th House district, succeeding Kronda Thimesch.
