Rep. Mitch Little, a Republican who was elected in 2025 to represent Texas’s 65th House district, posted several statements on his Twitter account on January 18, 2026. The tweets addressed topics ranging from religious doctrine to political criticism.
In one post, Little commented on religious universalism, writing: “For those of you not used to dealing with James’s brand of Universalism, let me leave you with a very uncomfortable thought:
If there were more than one way to heaven, then God was cruel for allowing his son Jesus to die on the cross.
Just sit with that for a minute.” (January 18, 2026)
Shortly after, he turned his attention to political matters with another statement: “The end state of all forms of Democrat rule is theft.” (January 18, 2026)
In a subsequent tweet the same day, Little wrote: “They just don’t get it.” (January 18, 2026)
Little succeeded Kronda Thimesch as representative for Texas’s 65th House district following the 2025 election.
