Rep. Mitch Little, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 65th district, posted several statements on his social media account between March 24 and March 26, 2026, addressing legal hiring practices and public disclosure laws.

On March 24, Little wrote “Finally.” On March 25, he stated “If you want to learn to be a great lawyer, I will still be hiring. I have no interest in this tool.” The following day, Little commented on public disclosure exemptions: “One of my major complaints about the reduction of the Celina investigation report is the statutory exemption on teacher performance data from public disclosure (Tex. Ed. Code 21.355). We need to end that right now.”

Little was elected to the Texas State House in 2025, succeeding Kronda Thimesch as representative for District 65.
