Rep. Mitch Little, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 65th district, has recently posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing his approach to public service and current events.
On January 18, 2026, Little wrote, “As someone now in public service, I am once again imploring you to ask, ‘How will this help a young person buy a house?’ None of race, gender, or sexuality factors into my decision making.” Later that same day, he added another post: “Never hesitate.”
The following day, on January 19, 2026, Little continued with a brief statement: “This confrontation has been a long time coming.”
Little was elected to the Texas State House in 2025 and succeeded Kronda Thimesch as representative for the state’s 65th House district. His recent posts reflect ongoing themes in his public communication about prioritizing economic opportunities for young people and his stance on identity considerations in policymaking.
