Rep. Mitch Little, a Republican elected in 2025 to represent Texas’s 65th House district, shared a series of statements on his social media account on January 19, 2026, addressing concerns about the church and expressing gratitude for community advocacy.
In one post, Rep. Little stated, “The church is under attack from within and without.” (January 19, 2026).
Shortly after, he acknowledged an individual’s efforts in community protection by posting, “Thank you, Elizabeth Phillips for your advocacy and for working so hard to protect kids and families.” (January 19, 2026).
Later that day, Rep. Little commented on a personal experience involving a popular podcast: “As someone who listens to @ShawnRyanShow almost religiously, I am kind of beside myself that this happened today. God is good.” (January 19, 2026).
Little succeeded Kronda Thimesch as representative of the Texas State House’s 65th district following his election in 2025.
