The Mustangs will travel to Waco for Baylor’s Michael Johnson Invitational, which is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, April 24-25.

This meet is one of only two remaining before the start of the championship season and offers the Mustangs a chance to improve their position in conference rankings. According to the team, ten performances by Mustangs athletes have already met Atlantic Coast Conference standards this season.

Competition for the Mustangs will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday at Clyde Hart Track and Field Stadium. Live results will be available for those wishing to follow along with the team’s progress.

With limited opportunities left before championships, each event at this invitational could play a significant role in shaping final conference standings for SMU athletes.

As preparations continue, attention will turn toward both individual achievements and team strategy ahead of postseason competition.
