Rep. Mitch Little, a Republican recently elected to the Texas State House for the 65th district, has commented on social media about political representation and legislative developments.

On August 24, 2025, Rep. Little posted: “Maryland has 8 districts, one Republican. 34% of the state voted for Trump.

Democrats only care about fairness when they’re losing.”

The following day, August 25, he added: “Nice. We’ll draw those, too.”

On August 26, Rep. Little addressed claims regarding proposed legislation in Texas: “Fascinating day in the legislature.

I saw someone post (lie) that HB 23 by Sam Harless is going to raise property taxes. The bill literally just codifies the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo’s property tax exemption. Their property is already treated as exempt from tax, so this”

Little assumed office in early 2025 after winning election to represent Texas’s 65th House district, succeeding Kronda Thimesch.
