Dallas Mayor Eric L. Johnson will announce the 30th annual Dallas Mayor’s Back to School Fair on May 6, alongside Dallas ISD Superintendent Dr. Stephanie Elizalde, All Stars Project of Dallas Senior Vice President Antoine Joyce-Roach, and Junior League of Dallas President Lindsay Davis.
The announcement highlights a milestone for the event, which aims to support students and families as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 7 at 11:00 a.m., and will take place in the Flag Room at Dallas City Hall located at 1500 Marilla Street in Dallas, Texas. The announcement will include remarks from Mayor Johnson as well as representatives from partner organizations such as the All Stars Project of Dallas and Junior League of Dallas. Local mascots and sponsors are also expected to be present.
According to city officials, this gathering marks three decades of community engagement focused on education readiness in Dallas. The involvement of multiple organizations underscores ongoing collaboration between city leadership, educational institutions, and local nonprofits.
As preparations continue for this year’s fair, organizers say they look forward to building on past successes while addressing current needs within the community.
