U.S. Representative Marc Veasey shared updates on his recent activities and political positions through a series of posts on X in August 2025. Veasey highlighted his involvement with sustainable manufacturing initiatives and voiced criticism of Republican policies, emphasizing Democratic efforts to address key issues.

On August 21, 2025, Veasey described his visit to TERREPOWER, stating, “I rolled up my sleeves at TERREPOWER—helping with inventory, light repairs, and packing parts. TERREPOWER is leading the way in sustainable manufacturing, creating jobs while cutting waste and lowering carbon emissions. The following day, Veasey addressed political challenges facing Democrats. In one post dated August 22, 2025, he wrote: “(2/3): (1/3): Trump, Abbott, Republicans know that their policies are unpopular. They kicked you off your healthcare. They raised your bills. They made it harder for kids to eat. That’s why they are scared. Scared of y’all voting them out. They can’t win on policy so they made”. In a subsequent post on the same day he added: “(3/3): That’s why Democrats are fighting back. We are using every tool we have to stop the steal and protect your voice, your healthcare, and lower your cost of living.”

Marc Veasey has represented Texas’s 33rd congressional district since first being elected in 2012 and has consistently secured re-election by wide margins over multiple election cycles—including victories against Patrick David Gillespie in both 2024 (68.8% to 31.2%) and 2022 (72% to 25.6%), Fabian Cordova Vasquez in 2020 (66.8% to 25.2%), Willie Billups in 2018 (76.2% to 21.9%), M. Mark Mitchell in 2016 (73.7% to 26.3%), and Jason Reeves in 2014 (86.5% to 13.5%).
