Continuing his critique of economic policies, on April 3, 2025, Veasey criticized the imposition of tariffs by former President Donald Trump. He stated: “Trump flatlining America with the dumbest tariffs possible.” This tweet reflects his objection to certain trade measures that he believes could negatively impact the economy.
Later that day, he issued another tweet questioning the intentionality behind damaging economic policies, asking followers to ponder potential outcomes of such actions. He wrote: “Ever wondered what would happen if a President purposefully tanks the economy?”
