Louisiana Tech’s Wesley Scott helps lead team to NCAA Division I win April 10

Wesley Scott, a former Lake Highlands High School standout, contributed to Louisiana Tech’s 8-1 win over Middle Tennessee State in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup at 6 p.m. Friday, April 10.

The contest, held at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park, marked the Bulldogs’ first meeting with the Blue Raiders this season.

Scott tallied two hits from four at-bats, scored once, drove in two runs and struck out once.

The Bulldogs are set to play their next game against the Blue Raiders at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park on Saturday, April 11.
