Lee was named to the United States team for the Arnold Palmer Cup, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on May 5. The event will take place from July 3 to July 5 at Tralee Golf Links in Ireland.

The Arnold Palmer Cup is an annual team golf competition featuring university-level golfers. It is contested between a United States team and an International team made up of players from outside the country. Each side consists of 12 men and 12 women. Lee becomes the first SMU women’s golfer to participate in the Palmer Cup, joining Hank Kuehne (1998, 1999) and Bryson DeChambeau (2015) as Mustang golfers who have appeared in this event.

During her four years at SMU, Lee has set thirteen school records. She holds both of the two lowest single-season scoring averages in program history with scores of 71.31 in the 2024-25 season and 71.32 in the previous year, along with additional seasons that rank fourth and sixth all-time for SMU. The North Little Rock, Arkansas native also holds the school record for birdies with a total of 504, surpassing the previous mark by a wide margin.

Lee has nearly doubled SMU’s record for par or better rounds with a total of eighty-eight compared to her closest teammate’s forty-eight. She has played more rounds than any other Mustang golfer and contributed more counting scores than anyone else on record. Her career scoring average stands as an SMU best at seventy-one point five one, and she recorded the lowest round ever by a Mustang with a score of sixty-two at last year’s Jim West Challenge.

This season saw Lee secure her first individual win at the Huntington Bank Collegiate tournament held near her hometown.

Looking ahead, Lee and her teammates continue their spring campaign as they prepare for NCAA postseason play at Ridgewood Country Club during May.
