Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 30th district since 2023, recently took to social media to share several updates with her followers. Her tenure in Congress follows her service in the Texas House of Representatives from 2021 to 2023.

On April 22, 2025, Crockett expressed her gratitude for being named “Advocate of the Year for the 29th Annual Webbys!” She noted the importance of her work in ensuring her communities are “seen, heard, and protected,” and invited her followers to join her for the ceremony on May 12.

Later the same day, she reminded her constituents about the commencement of the early voting period in Texas. Announcing that early voting had begun, she encouraged citizens to “make your voice heard in local elections that impact our schools, streets, and everyday lives.” She provided a link for voters to find their polling places and additional information.

On April 23, 2025, Crockett shared a lighter moment, indicating “Had the best time with @jimmykimmel!”, promoting her appearance on the late-night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Jasmine Crockett was born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1981 and currently resides in Dallas, Texas. She holds a BA from Rhodes College and a JD from the University of Houston.
