Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, who represents Texas’ 30th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on her social media account between February 22 and February 25, 2026, addressing constituents on safety advisories and recent legislative initiatives.

On February 22, Crockett issued a public advisory urging residents to remain indoors: “If you are in any of the locations outlined in this advisory, please shelter in place until further notice. For families in TX-30 needing assistance getting home, my office stands ready to help. https://t.co/4U26IACQG3 or call (214) 922-8885. ————— Si se encuentra en alguna https://t.co/sp4v0ZlXpC”.

The following day, on February 23, she commented on former President Donald Trump’s policies and referenced pending legislation: “Trump illegally jacked up costs on the American people. The Payback Act says: run us our money back. https://t.co/tJOCjBiuwD”.

On February 25, Crockett shared a post containing only a link: “https://t.co/6S9wQfQBzf”.

Crockett has served as the representative for Texas’s 30th district since replacing Eddie Bernice Johnson in 2023. She previously held office in the Texas House of Representatives from 2021 to 2023. Born in St Louis, Missouri in 1981 and currently residing in Dallas, Crockett holds degrees from Rhodes College and the University of Houston.

In her political career, Crockett has won several elections by wide margins. In the 2024 general election, she defeated Jrmar Jefferson with nearly 85% of the vote. In the previous cycle, she won against James Rodgers with almost three-quarters of votes cast.
