Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, who represents Texas’ 30th District in the U.S. Congress, has made notable statements through a series of tweets. The tweets, covering topics from workers’ rights to important legislative initiatives, highlight her stance on various issues.

On March 31, 2025, Congresswoman Crockett expressed her support for union protections for federal workers in Texas, criticizing former President Trump’s attempts to reduce these protections. She stated through her Twitter account: “Texas is home to the third-most federal workers in the country—and now Trump wants to gut their union protections, along with those of hundreds of thousands more. Absolutely not. I stand with our workers and their right to organize.”

Later that day, she announced the re-introduction of a legislative initiative alongside Representative Dan Goldman. The initiative, the Abortion Care Awareness Act of 2025, aims to ensure that the Department of Health and Human Services undertakes a campaign to educate and inform the public about their rights and options regarding abortion care. She tweeted: “Today, @RepDanGoldman and I re-introduced the Abortion Care Awareness Act of 2025. This legislation would ensure the Department of Health & Human Services launches a nationwide education and outreach campaign so people know their rights, understand their options, and can access.”

On April 1, 2025, Crockett commented on Senator Cory Booker’s extended speech on the Senate floor, indicating her support for his actions, which she regards as necessary to protect democracy. In reference to Senator Booker’s demonstration, she shared, “Disruption is all they seem to understand—so that’s exactly what they’re getting. For 14 hours, @SenBooker has been on the Senate floor, speaking truth within the rules. This cannot be business as usual when our democracy’s on the line. Thank you, senator.”
