Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, representing Texas’ 30th district, has been an active voice on social media, providing pointed commentary on current political issues. Crockett, who succeeded Eddie Bernice Johnson in 2023, is also an alumnus of Rhodes College and the University of Houston.
On April 30, 2025, Crockett criticized RFK Jr.’s statement about fluoride, suggesting it makes people “stupider.” She remarked on RFK Jr.’s stance by saying, “Interesting take from a man actively proving it’s not the water…it’s the policy. This ain’t health care, it’s headline-chasing with a government badge.”
On May 1, 2025, Crockett highlighted what she referred to as “5 diabolical, disastrous, deplorable, detrimental dumb decisions by Don,” in a post linked here. She implied these decisions were extensive and problematic.
Later the same day, on May 1, Crockett addressed a proposed budget plan. She criticized it by stating “The facts are the facts: their proposed budget is not going to make life easier for 99% of us.” Furthermore, she expressed anticipation for Republicans to take more action in favor of their electorate, saying, “I can’t WAIT until the day that Republicans decide to show up and work for the people who elected them.”
Crockett’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Rhodes College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston.
