Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, who represents Texas’s 30th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently addressed several issues on her social media account, including congressional subpoenas related to Jeffrey Epstein, minimum wage legislation, and allegations of voter suppression.
On July 24, 2025, Crockett posted about actions taken by a fellow lawmaker regarding the release of files connected to Jeffrey Epstein. She wrote: “My colleague, @RepSummerLee, filed a motion in an Oversight subcommittee to subpoena the Epstein files, and it passed. Now let’s see if the rest of the Republicans will stop playing defense and let the truth come out.”
Later that day, she commented on federal wage policy: “It’s been 16 years since Congress raised the minimum wage. Meanwhile, folks are out here trying to survive on $7.25 an hour. In this economy?! I’m standing with my @Labor_Caucus colleagues to #RaiseTheWage, because $7.25 ain’t cutting it.” The federal minimum wage has remained at $7.25 per hour since 2009.
In another post from July 24, Crockett criticized Republican strategies concerning election laws: “Republicans know they’re losing. So instead of fixing it, they’re out here changing the rules, rigging the maps, trying to cheat, and hoping we won’t notice. This is a blatant attempt at voter suppression. They know they can’t win fair and square—not after everything they’ve”
