Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, a U.S. Representative who secured significant victories in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections, has recently shared a series of posts on her social media account addressing issues of historical representation and agricultural policy.

On August 20, 2025, Crockett posted: “They’ve tried to erase us for centuries. Didn’t work then, won’t work now. Black history IS American history.” The statement underscores her position on the importance of recognizing Black history as an integral part of American history.

Later that day, Crockett highlighted barriers facing prospective farmers: “Too many folks who are ready to farm are being locked out by outdated rules and endless red tape. Land is power, and everyone willing to put in the work deserves a fair shot at it.

That’s why I teamed up with @ZachNunn to introduce the Next Generation of Farmers Act: a” This message points to legislative efforts aimed at reforming access to land for new farmers.

On August 21, 2025, she posted a brief update: “Here, fixed it.”

Crockett’s advocacy comes after strong electoral showings in recent years. In the 2024 general election, she defeated Jrmar Jefferson with approximately 85% of the vote. Two years earlier, she won against James Rodgers with nearly 75% support.
