Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas’ 24th district since 2021, recently shared her insights on economic and political developments through a series of tweets. A native of Ithaca, New York, Van Duyne graduated from Cornell University in 1995 and now resides in Irving.

On May 10, 2025, Congresswoman Van Duyne highlighted the state of the economy by stating that “The data doesn’t lie! Prices are down across the board from the same time in 2024!!“.

Later that day, she commented on international trade policies under President Trump’s administration. She noted that “President Trump’s use of tariffs is strategic to drive job growth in America. This week’s agreement with the United Kingdom was historic, and just the beginning. All part of the plan to make the US the global leader for manufacturing growth, economic expansion, and long term.”

On May 11, 2025, Van Duyne extended warm wishes for Mother’s Day to her constituents by tweeting “Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms across Texas-24! Today we celebrate all that you do for your families and our community.

Beth Van Duyne has been serving as a U.S. Congress member since replacing Kenny Marchant in 2021.
