The Dallas Stars announced on Mar. 20 that they have signed forward Dylan Hryckowian to a two-year, entry-level contract.
Hryckowian, age 21, recently completed his junior season at Northeastern University where he recorded 37 points in 30 games and served as one of the team’s alternate captains. The signing adds depth to the Stars’ roster and brings in a player with both collegiate and junior hockey experience.
Before joining Northeastern University, Hryckowian played for the Cedar Rapids Roughriders in the United States Hockey League during the 2022-23 season. He tallied 65 points over 61 games with Cedar Rapids. Over his NCAA career, he appeared in 100 games and registered a total of 39 goals and 68 assists for 107 points. In addition to his performance on the ice, Hryckowian was named to the Hockey East All-Academic Teams for both the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons.
Hryckowian is listed at five feet ten inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. He is originally from L’ÃŽle-Bizard, Quebec. Notably, he is also the younger brother of current Stars forward Justin Hryckowian.
The addition of Dylan Hryckowian reflects the team’s ongoing efforts to develop young talent within its organization.
