Dallas announces traffic notice for Spartan Dallas 2026 event

The City of Dallas announced on April 15 that the Spartan Dallas 2026 event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 18 at 7 a.m. in the plaza outside City Hall and throughout the Central Business District. Streets and parking access around City Hall will be affected from Thursday, April 9 until Tuesday, April 21 at 7 p.m.

This announcement is important for residents and visitors who may need to adjust their travel plans or parking arrangements during this period.

According to city officials, Main Street Garden Park, Harwood Park, Pacific Plaza, and Carpenter Park will have restricted access during the event. Parking meters around these parks will be covered starting Thursday, April 9 at 5 p.m. for setup and preparation, remaining unavailable until Tuesday, April 21 at 9 p.m. Additionally, parking meters along the race route will be covered from Friday evening through Saturday afternoon.

The festival area for Spartan Dallas will be located in front of City Hall plaza. There will be no parking available at City Hall during the event; however, participants can use nearby surface lots within walking distance over race weekend.
