Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, representing Texas’ 30th district, has been vocal on social media regarding various political figures and issues. Her recent tweets address controversies involving George Floyd’s death and remarks made by RFK Jr.

On May 14, 2025, Congresswoman Crockett addressed Marjorie Taylor Greene in a tweet stating: “Marjorie, I know the truth confuses you and facts ain’t your strong suit—so let me break it down real slow: George Floyd didn’t die from drugs. He died because Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for 9 minutes. That’s called murder. We all saw it. You can lie to yourself all day,” highlighting the circumstances surrounding George Floyd’s death.

Later that day, at 21:33 UTC, Crockett tweeted about RFK Jr., expressing skepticism over his qualifications as head of HHS: “Oh now he tells y’all?? After spreading lies and conspiracy theories, RFK Jr. says don’t listen to his advice—as head of HHS. Sir, we already knew. We were just waiting on you to admit you’re unqualified.”

The following day, May 15, 2025, Crockett again addressed Marjorie Taylor Greene in relation to the autopsy report of George Floyd: “Marjorie, I get it—reading comprehension ain’t your ministry. That autopsy doesn’t say what you think it says. What it DOESN’T do is support your claim that George Floyd died of a drug overdose. That man had a knee on his neck for over 9 minutes—and we all watched it.”

Jasmine Crockett has served in the U.S Congress since replacing Eddie Bernice Johnson in 2023 and previously held office in the Texas House of Representatives from 2021 to 2023.
