Jasmine Crockett, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 30th district, took to social media to voice her concerns about recent administrative actions. Crockett, who replaced Eddie Bernice Johnson in 2023, shared her thoughts on a variety of controversial topics, focusing on immigration policies, child welfare programs, and women’s protection initiatives.

On April 28, 2025, she noted, “Trump’s ICE deported 3 American kids. One is 4 years old with stage four cancer. Another’s mom is pregnant. No meds. No prenatal care. No due process. This ain’t “tough on immigration”—it’s sick.” In this statement, she criticized the deportation practices that affect vulnerable individuals, including children in dire health conditions.

The following day, on April 29, 2025, Crockett commented on program cuts affecting family services. She stated, “This administration wants families to have more children yet is cutting the programs that provide crucial services to support the very children they would have! Make it make sense!” This tweet pointed out the inconsistency between advocating for increased birth rates while reducing supportive services.

The same day, she addressed critiques of initiatives related to women’s security. She tweeted, “Funny how it’s a “woke Biden initiative” now yet Noem, Rubio, and even the Joint Chiefs Chair were supporters of WSP in 2017. WPS protects women and bolsters their participation within peace and society. Hegseth has shown why you don’t put an unqualified, TV personality is”. Here, Crockett emphasized the bipartisan support for the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) initiative, criticizing the dismissal of these efforts as politically motivated.

Jasmine Crockett, born in St Louis, Missouri in 1981, currently resides in Dallas. After earning a BA from Rhodes College and a JD from the University of Houston, she served in the Texas House of Representatives before her tenure in Congress.
