Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 24th district since 2021, shared a series of updates on May 18, 2025, via social media. Her posts reflect her engagement with constituents and highlight key legislative priorities.

On May 18, Van Duyne expressed her pleasure at meeting members of the Texas Society of CPAs during their visit with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She noted, “Always great to see Texas-24 members of the Texas Society of CPAs! We were able to catch up while they were here with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).”

Later that day, she discussed legislative efforts aimed at boosting energy development and economic growth. In a post made on May 18, she stated, “With the One Big, Beautiful Bill we can unleash American energy development, provide additional resources for border security, deliver pro-growth tax policies that will help working Americans, Main Street small businesses, and a manufacturing resurgence for our hard-working.”

In another update from May 18, Van Duyne celebrated a sports achievement by Dallas professional athletes. She congratulated Scottie Scheffler on his victory at the PGA Championship saying, “Scottie Scheffler wins the PGA Championship! Good weekend for Dallas professional athletes!”

Beth Van Duyne was born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and currently resides in Irving. She graduated from Cornell University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
