Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas’ 24th district, shared several updates on her social media platform, highlighting engagements and legislative actions. Serving in Congress since 2021, Van Duyne has been active in both local and national matters.

On May 15, 2025, Van Duyne expressed her pleasure at meeting with “the @Celanese CEO, Scott Richardson, and his team in Washington”. She noted that Celanese is a global chemical and specialty materials company headquartered in Irving.

In a brief post on May 16, 2025, Van Duyne congratulated an individual identified as DJ with a succinct message: “Way to go DJ!”.

Later the same day, she announced the passage of legislation aimed at enhancing law enforcement officer safety and wellness. Van Duyne stated that “With bipartisan support, my House colleagues and I backed the men and women in law enforcement with commonsense legislation that will improve officer wellness and safety”. The bills passed include the Improving Law Enforcement Officer Safety and Wellness Through Data Act.

Beth Van Duyne was born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and currently resides in Irving. She graduated from Cornell University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
