Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas’ 24th district since 2021, has been actively sharing her views and activities through social media. Her recent tweets highlight significant legislative efforts and international engagements.

On May 20, 2025, Van Duyne expressed support for a major legislative initiative by House Republicans. She stated that “House Republicans continue to work together to pass this generationally important bill which will deliver incredible economic growth, ensure investments in manufacturing, and secure job opportunities for decades to come.” This bill is expected to have a direct impact on the economy and employment.

The following day, May 21, 2025, she shared her experience meeting with executives from the Korea International Trade Association in Washington. Van Duyne emphasized the importance of international partnerships by noting that “It was great to meet with executives visiting Washington with the Korea International Trade Association. We discussed the important partnership between our two countries, and the unique relationship between Texas and the Republic of Korea.”

Later on May 21, Van Duyne commented on immigration matters. She remarked on self-deportations stating “Self-deportations have begun and I hope they only speed up going forward!” indicating her stance on immigration policy.

Beth Van Duyne has served in Congress since replacing Kenny Marchant in 2021. Born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and currently residing in Irving, she graduated from Cornell University in 1995 with a BA.
