Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas’ 24th District since 2021, has been vocal on Twitter about issues related to the judiciary, human trafficking, and government administration. Her recent series of tweets provide insights into her viewpoints on these matters.

On May 1, 2025, Van Duyne criticized judicial appointments made by the Democratic Party. She expressed her disapproval of the judges with a statement, “Democrat appointed judges who don’t know the law and want to shut down law enforcement officers from doing their sworn duties to protect American citizens should hang their ignorant heads in shame.”

Later that day, Van Duyne expressed gratitude towards Secretary Kennedy, sharing strong criticisms of the Biden Administration’s policies on human trafficking. She stated, “I’m grateful to @SecKennedy for calling out what I’ve said for years. The Biden Admin engaged in the largest human and slave trafficking we’ve ever seen, and they did so to support the Mexican cartels.” She described the actions as “Absolutely disgraceful and destructive to America and the children.”

The following day, on May 2, 2025, Van Duyne commended the Trump Administration’s efforts to curb fraud and theft. She compared these efforts to past administrations with a statement, “The utter commitment of the Trump Administration to stop fraud and theft of our tax dollars is a monumental difference from the past. America absolutely voted for this.” She concluded with a thank you to Secretary Rollins.

Beth Van Duyne, who succeeded Kenny Marchant in 2021, was born in Ithaca, New York. She graduated from Cornell University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts and currently resides in Irving.
