Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas’ 24th District in the U.S. Congress, recently took to social media to comment on various immigration-related issues. Her series of tweets, shared on April 28, 2025, comprise reflections on actions taken by the Trump Administration regarding immigration and border security.

In the first tweet, dated April 28, 2025, Van Duyne expressed satisfaction with actions under the Trump Administration, stating, “A good morning indeed! Our Country is safer due to the commitment from the Trump Administration to get these dangerous criminal illegal aliens off of our streets.”

Later that day, she addressed the impact of the Administration’s policies on the legal system. She noted, “When you have an Administration working so quickly and successfully to secure the border and deport illegal immigrants, the courts get jammed with activist lawsuits. Which is why there has been a pause on some deportations. Make no mistake, the American people absolutely voted.”

In her final tweet of the day, Congresswoman Van Duyne commended the efforts of Operation Tidal Wave, a program aiming to arrest criminal illegal aliens, stating, “Over the weekend, thanks to Operation Tidal Wave, within the first four days, nearly 800 criminal illegal aliens were arrested. Promises made, promises kept!” Van Duyne has been serving in Congress since 2021 and is known for her advocacy on issues related to immigration and border security.

Beth Van Duyne, 52, was born in Ithaca, New York and resides in Irving. She possesses a BA from Cornell University, obtained in 1995.
