Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas’ 24th district since 2021, has recently shared updates on various initiatives and congratulatory messages via social media. Born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and a graduate of Cornell University, Van Duyne now resides in Irving. Her tweets highlight her involvement and support for local events and programs.

On May 8, 2025, Van Duyne extended her congratulations to Andrew Giuliani for his appointment as the Executive Director of the presidential task force for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup. She expressed excitement about Dallas hosting nine matches during the event. “Congratulations to Andrew Giuliani on his new role as the Executive Director of the presidential task force for the 2026 FIFA World Cup! Dallas is excited to be hosting 9 of the FIFA World Cup matches!”

The following day, May 9, she mentioned meeting Anne Crews from Mary Kay, Inc., alongside other members of the Personal Care Products Council. Later that day, she announced that registration was open for the 2025 Congressional App Challenge aimed at middle and high school students interested in technology development. The challenge encourages young participants to submit original apps by October 30th as part of Texas’ District #TX24 competition.“Registration is now open for the 2025 Congressional App Challenge! Middle and high school students are invited to submit an original app for a chance to win our #TX24 challenge!”
