The Bath House Cultural Center announced on May 30 its schedule of events for June 2026 at its location at 521 E. Lawther Drive, Dallas, Texas, near White Rock Lake. The center will host a variety of performances, lectures, gallery exhibitions, and festivals throughout the month.
Building hours are Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m., with extended hours until 10 p.m. on performance evenings. The center is also open on Sundays for special events.
Highlights include a poetry and music performance titled OUTLOUD in the Black Box Theater on Thursday, June 4 from 7 to 9 p.m., which is free to attend. On Saturday, June 6, Julia Velázquez will present a lecture called ‘An Introduction to Mafalda’ in the classroom from 1 to 2 p.m., also free to attend.
From June 6 through July 4, several gallery exhibitions will be featured: ‘Made in Plastic II’ by Diana Marquis and ShabNam Modjarrad; ‘The Eye of the Artist: Interpretations of Nature’ by Wayne Winn and Penny Wright; and ‘Second Surface: Shaping New Futures from Plastic Waste’ by Purva Chawla and Steven Kinder. A reception for these exhibitions is scheduled for June 6 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Other notable events include a music performance by Junie & Friends on Saturday, June 13 in the Black Box Theater; the Juneteenth festival titled ‘Liberation in Motion’ on Friday, June 19 at lake level; Echo Theatre’s production of ‘The Roommate’ running from June 19 through July 4; an artist talk with exhibiting artists on Saturday, June 20 at the gallery; and Echo Reads presenting ‘Bunker; or, The Whale’ in the Black Box Theater on Tuesday, June 30 at 7:30 p.m., which is free with RSVP required.
